Artifacts are a very useful feature of ContinuaCI. I like to provide additinal information on this page.
Unfortunately only two view types are available: Image and NUnit (besides the special one called ‘variable’).
Would you mind to provide another type ‘Text’? This is meant to treat an artifact as text file.
The reason is, that any artifact with the extension .txt can be both 'download’ed and 'view’ed on the artifacts page. An artifact with the extension .ini or .js for example can only be 'download’ed from the artifacts page. I need to rename it to .ini.txt for example to get what I need.
My proposal is to provide (intruduce support for) the following artifact rule:
Text | GuckstDu.ini
Text | FormatC.js
