Automated downloads

Hi,

Is is possible to use Automise to automate and schedule downloads from the internet, and if so, how?

I've tried a HTTP GET FILE action but that just results in a a socket error #10060 indicating the connection timed out..  Typing the get file url into an explorer address bar pulls the file perfectly so I presume the connection is OK.  What am I missing?

What is the url you are using in the http get file?

Also, does Internet Explorer have any proxy configuration set? The HTTP Get File action will need the same proxy settings as IE.

Thanks for your help guys - esp. Angus - it was the proxy setting. Should have thought of that myself !
