As a FinalBuilder user I haven’t really looked at Automise.
Is ‘FinalBuilder Lite’ a fair description of it?
Automise does not include the following actions:
- Version Control Systems (eg. VSS, Subversion, etc)
- Compiler actions (eg. VisualStudio, Delphi)
- Some .Net actions (eg. NGEN, FxCop)
But Automise does include the following actions which FB Standard does not:
- Async action group
- WMI actions
- CD/DVD burner
So, basically Automise is not simply a Lite edition - it’s got quite a different mix of features which are aimed at a different audience: sys admin, network admins, and other IT professionals… whereas FinalBuilder is aimed at software developers.
