The message appears as soon as you start the program.
“An error occurred in the application”
In the show bug report the message that appears in the exception message is
“No mapping for the unicode character exists in the target multi-byte code page”
Already tried to reinstall the program, and change the ini that is in C: \ ProgramData \ VSoft \ FinalBuilder8
What to do?
Is this when it opens a project file? I have seen this error before, it was a corrupted project file.
if you look in C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\FinalBuilder8
for current.xml - that will show you which project file is being opened. I suggest deleting the current*.xml files (effectively resetting the docking/window layout and stopping FB from loading the project at startup, it will recreate those files). If FB starts then it’s a good bet the project file is the cultprit. You can the project file to support @ finalbuilder.com and we’ll see if we can repair it.
