Build 882 ImportFBS.exe Authentication error

When I try and use the ImportFBS.exe application with my standard web site based user/password I get the following errors in the command prompt.  Obviously I've got to use the correct combination of authentication credentials, but I have walked through every combination for users, administrators etc that I have on the server and in FBS7.

Environment

  1. x64 Continua, x86 FinalBuilderServer 7 (On a different site, as a sub directory application - public facing) both running on the same Server.
  2. Continue services are running on an application specific domain user account.
  3. Final builder services are running with the "Local System" AD account.

 The following error occurred importing Final Builder Server to Continua: System.
Security.SecurityException: Failed to authenticate user.
   at Continua.Import.ContinuaConnection.Connect()
   at ImportFBS.Import.Main(String[] args)
The Zone of the assembly that failed was:
MyComputer

Na that one didn’t make build 886 unfortunately. I’ll get Dave M. to provide you with an update when the work is complete.

This has now been fixed. If you are using LDAP then you no longer need to provide a username and password, it will pick it up automatically from the current windows user. This will be included in our next build which should be released this afternoon.
