I'm getting to see a stack more information with these latest builds. Please keep up the excellent work. I got some more productivity issues/bugs that I would like you guys to look at from a UX perspective. Just finding it hard to navigate around exceptions so I know what to fix or report.
The pop up is something we have planned for a future release. It won’t be the normal error toast you see in Continua when some things go wrong but a HTML5 notifications popup that will be displayed even if your web browser hasn’t got focus. We need to make some large changes for that though, it’ll probably hook into our notifications system so you can subscribe to certain events to get the pop up to display.
I’ll look into linking error messages to event log entries but can’t promise anything.

We had a look today at providing links to the eventlog entries, it’s a major change as the event log code is input only at the moment. We will need to change it so that it returns something that can be used to identify the entry. I do think it’s a good idea (it’s logged as a feature requiest/enhancement), but it might take a while before we get to it. Right now we are focusing on bugs and finishing the ldap rewrite and working on a new website.
