how far is the support for Linux-Sytems as BuildAgents? I found only a very old post from 2012 (What platforms does Continua support?) where it was the plan to support Linux and OSX. Is there any progress on that topic? And what is the actual suggested way to run commands in a linux environment from continua? FTP/WinSCP and SSH?
We are still working towards porting Continua CI to .net core, which will eventually allow agents to run on Linux. The porting is taking longer than expected due to the massive changes to asp.net MVC (the actuall core of the server and agents were ported fairly easily).
In the mean time, Continua CI does have an SSH Script action (only available to licensed users, not the free version) - see https://wiki.finalbuilder.com/display/continua/SSH+Run+Script+Action
