Calling a SSIS .dtsx package directly

Hello Automise world!

I'm not entirely sure if this message should go hear or in Automise Wish list, so please be patient with me if I placed it in the wrong location.

I'm currently using both Automise v3 and v4 and am interested if anyone has managed to directly kick off an SSIS.dtsx package directly from Automise? I know how to kick off batch files, and execute SQL statements which has allowed me to do a workaround to get my SSIS packages run but calling SQL Server Agent Jobs which then point to my .dtsx files.

Some changes with how we host our data is requiring a relook and I was wondering if anyone out there has figured out a better way?

Thanks!

Hi AlphaUno,

Are you able to use the Execute Program action to call the DTEXEC executable with your package. Something like "C:>dtexec.exe /F “C:\MyPackage.dtsx”?
