Clear the Messages window?

New user question. I am running FinalBuilder 7.0.0.3202. How do I clear the Messages window? If I close the Messages window, they just reappear the next time I run a build. The only way I can find is to close FinalBuilder completely.

I don’t believe there is a way to clear the message window without restarting FinalBuilder. What messages are you seeing? The messages window is only used for major issues, like loading a project when packages it requires are missing.

Sorry I haven’t replied sooner, I’ve been on vacation.

I was running a build from the command line using the /O option, while I had the build project open in the IDE. This came up in the Messages window:

'xxx.fbp7 was closed as it’s being opened in an unattended instance of FinalBuilder.

Hi Jim,

Yes, currently the window messages are not able to be cleared. The reason behind this was usually getting messages in this window meant that there was something wrong with how the IDE was running up. E.g. missing packages which meant some actions were not loaded in your project. We are reviewing this and will look into allowing the clearing of the window.
