To get the every hour (which of course then sadly doesnt show on the systray icon) I had to use the command line to run the job, which works very well, but it would be nice if you could run it invisibly so it doesnt leap to the front and so on.

You can actually run the Automise IDE from the command line as well, which gives you the systray functionality. See my other post for details (the easiest way is to use the Automise schedule wizard to make a Daily or Once Only schedule, then click on Edit Task (Advanced), then click on the Schedule tab, then the Advanced button, then check the “Repeat task” checkbox and put in the settings you need.
