Difference between 'run selected steps' and 'run from'

For instance>

Define fileset
Delete fileset
comment step that has a breakpoint set on it


If I select the first two steps, then ‘run selected’ the first step selects the log files that I want (11 files)(I can see them) - the second step says 0 files deleted

If I run from first step, the first step selects, the second deletes (11 files) then stops on the breakpoint.


It appears that the fileset name doesn’t persist between run selected steps, I’m not sure if that’s intended.

I get a similar behaviour with FTP - first step opens FTP fine, second step, where I do something, like create a directory, it says there’s no connection. And if I run from first step, it works.
