Email as attach file

Hi,

I am having trouble emailing a file using the "E-mail" funktion.

The case is:

I have to find af file on a fileshare. When the file is found (file exist command) I have to e-mail the file. Not copy the text into the email. The file is found based on af Fileset.

Can anyone help?

How are you attaching the file to the email? Just tested it here with the latest version of Automise 3 and it works as expected, I've attached the project so you compare it to your project.

It works as a charme. Did not know that you could use a variable to store the file in.

If I want the name of the file to be the subject in the e-mail - can I do that? I tried %file% and %fileset% but it uses the filepath of the fil. It is only the filename attatch that i want as Subject in the e-mail.

Have a look at the Path Manipulation Action, you can use it to extract the filename to another variable.
