Email notifications not working

Hello,

Since the last update of Continua the email notifications are no longer being sent.
Validation of the email settings also fail in the Edit Publisher dialog:
An error occurred while sending a test email. Please check your email settings. Details: Failed to deliver email message to my email using new connection Unaccepted server reply (error code is 554). Reply from SMTP service was '554 Transaction failed: Expected ‘;’, got “=” '

And the email settings were not changed.

What mail server are you using?

We are using Amazon SES SMPT.

We were able to reproduce the problem here after testing with Amazon SES. We took in an update to the smtp library and that seems to have fixed it. We’ll have a test build with the fix available later today.
