Hi,
I am about to loose patience with this bug, so I guess it is time to bring it up here.
I have a larger project with multiple action lists. In a few places, I export the log of an action to an xml file. On the FRAGMENT tab, I choose “Export logs from action” and choose the action I want exported from the drop down list.
Every once in a while ALL assigned actions in ALL “Export log to file” tasks are scrambled, forcing me to visit every one export action and reassign the action which is to be exported.
Is there a workaround. Is this known?

Daniel

Hi Daniel,
I can understand how this would be frustrating, and I must say we haven’t had this reported before.
To help us work this through and get a solution for you would you be able answer some question for us?
- Which version of FinalBuilder is this issue occurring in?
- Is there a common task you perform in FinalBuilder just before this occurs?
In the meantime I will review the code in this area to see what could be causing the fragments to become scrambled.
Hi Daniel,
I have looked into the code and can not see anything at present which would cause this behavior.
I look forward to hearing back from your about the questions I posed earlier. They might point to something more I can look into.
Thanks.
Hi,
I will try to narrow it down a bit. Usually it goes like this
* task to be logged
* delete old log file
* export log of task to log file (XML)
The logged task is either a Delphi compiler run or some CVSNT Task
I will try to watch it a little more, as it happened a few times already, I am sure I can recreate it. Maybe I can narrow it down to some specific task. We use version 7.0.0.3135, just noticed that an update came out.
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
If you could provide the steps to reproduce the issue that would be great. If you also have a project you could send to our support address this would help greatly. Thanks and looking forward to getting this solved for you.
It will take a few days to check out, as I have other things on my agenda this (and likely next) week. Following that, I’ll try to narrow it down and send you a test project and/or easy steps to reproduce
