I am trying to use Final Builder 7 v 7.0.0.2534 on Windows 7 SP1 (32-bit) to run a test harness twice a day. This entails a project to reimaging the machine to a clean state with FB7 installed and authorized, and a scheduled project to install and run tests on our software product.
Both the FB project to reimage the machine and the FB project to execute the install and test will RUN when fired off by human hand. Both projects will also run if I open FB and enter in the "Run as" passwords for the network user that has permissions to run the tests. However, this is intended to be an unattended, automated process. At the assigned times, FB 7 needs start and execute the appropriate projects on its own.
The problem seems to occur when I setup the projects with run times and enter in the password for the "Run as" client, save the information, and then save the image to be restored and rerun at the appointed time. I find that Final Builder 7 has dropped the passwords for the projects upon restore of the image, and thus the projects do not run.
Just for your info, this process and very similar projects worked when using Final Builder 6. I am using the same machine, the same user/password, the same image capture method and testing the same product.
