FB project is not updated when started through commandline

Hello,

we have a couple of buildmachines running every night with the latest FB7.0.0.1889 installed.
The buildprocess is triggered by a scheduled task.

Last week we made some changes to our buildproject and we thought that similar to FB6 the newest version will be downloaded to the buildmachine as soon as the next build starts.
However when I checked the buildmachines this morning I realized that the buildproject is still the old version.

The project is checked into source control on all machines and also the tick get latest version on open is set.

If I open FB with a doubleclick the last project will be loaded and FB also makes a check if the latest version is on the machine. I could see the message  "getting latest version from source control..."
I checked the date of the project file now available on the machine and it was updated.

Then I downloaded the previous version of the project and repeated the test, this time I started FB with the schedules task ("C:\Program Files\FinalBuilder 7\FinalBuilder7.exe" /o /n /e /r "D:\Projects\Buildmachine\xxx.fbp7" /vbAutobuild=1;...).
I could also see the message "getting latest version from source control...", but the project file on the machine wasn't updated when I checked it afterwards.

We are using FB7.0.0.1889 on Windows xP Sp3 machines.

Any ideas?

Hi

I had a look at the difference between the code in FB6 and FB7, difficult to compare those as the IDe code is very different, however I believe I found a logic error in FB7. I haven’t been able test the change yet, need to install an SCCAPI provider as my machine doesn’t currently have any installed, however I create a test build with the change which may be worth trying :

Hi Vincent,

I downloaded the (test-)version and it’s working fine.
Thanks a lot for the quick reply.

Best regards
