After now the version 6.3 is released for a while, we are still awaiting the implementation of an extensive AD integration. We urgently need the extension to trusted Domains, so we can use user accounts of our corporate Domain (which is trusted), whereas our build machines persist in our development Domain. We greatly miss this feature! Are there any concrete plans now?
B.t.w.: Case 47959 containing exact that feature request without any answer for a while (one month)
Sorry about the long delay in replying to that case, not sure how it’s been overlooked for so long. The biggest problem with authentication against trusted domains is that we do not have the sufficient infrastructure to actually work with to develop and test the code. We have attempted to set up virtual networks which have multiple domains in a forest but have not been successful in getting it all to work together. If you’re willing to help us test the authentication code for trusted domains we may be able to get the code into a test build and work from there, otherwise it’ll have to wait until we have a usable virtual network up and running, which I’m unsure how long may take.
