FBCmd Error: -1073741502 : Unknown error code: -1073741502

Hi guys,

I used the FinnalBuilder for several years, these days I was transfering the build stuff to a new manchine, but seems like something wrong happened when I run the "Finalbuilder Server" by accessing the URL http://localhost , after log in the system, and click the corresponding button to start running the builder scripts, it runs into failed after several seconds, if we check the "details" given by the "build results", it just gives the message:

Project failed to complete successfully.
FBCmd Error: -1073741502 : Unknown error code: -1073741502

 

any idea?

-1073741502 translates to C0000142 hexadecimal. If you Google that value you will find it means that you are missing a DLL on your new machine when some program is trying to load. From your description it sounds like it is in one of your apps that FB is trying to run, not anything to do with FB itself.

Thanks for the reply, timfrost. But it doesn’t help, do you know how should i do? Here are the for information i got:

“Faulting application FBCMD.exe, version 7.0.0.515, time stamp 0x4c589fdb, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 6.0.6002.18005, time stamp 0x49e03821, exception code 0xc0000142, fault offset 0x00009eed, process id 0x1144, application start time 0x01cde35c59168aa1.”

Is there any permission i wrongly configured or something else? Anybody can help me?? It’s really urgent for us?

What version/build of FinalBuilder are you using? what version of windows?

The OS is Windows Server 2008 Standard x86.

Its FinalBuilder Server. We run it with Administrator account, I guess there is no right problem.

Please update to a newer build, 7.0.0.515 is very old, there have been many updates released since then :

we bought the “Named For solo Developers” version, acoording to the instroduction, Only 2 Installations, does it mean we need to purchase it again? Is there any other ways?

The 2 installations means 2 concurrent installations… you can re-install it on the same machine as many times as you like. Note that your software assurance expired on 14/09/2011 so the latest build you can install that will work with your license is 7.0.0.1535.
