FBCMD licensing

Hi,

How does fbcmd.exe licensing work?

Is it the same thing as FB6 Pro itself? I would need one license per box I'm running fbcmd.exe on or I can use fbcmd.exe anywhere I need to run a script? just fbcmd.exe and not the gui/server/ide

There are scenarios where I need to execute local tasks on a bunch of VMs and fbcmd.exe would be perfect for that.

The workaround is to use psexec tasks but I find the process not as robust as a local task.

If not we'll buy more licenses but I wanted to make sure first.

Hi,

The licensing for FBCMD is the same as for FinalBuilder Professional, if you require additional FBCMD licenses, then you will need to purchase additional FinalBuilder Professional Licenses.
