File Iterator not finding all instances on drive

Here is an odd one for you.

I have written a little script to locate the 'srcsafe.ini' (SourceSafe) files located on our network drives. When I ran the script on one drive the action only found 6 but if I run a Dos command line call:-

dir srcsafe.ini /s /b

I get 9 reported. It is the last three that are missing. If repeat the same script pointing to another network drive both the action and the command line methods come back with the same number 61.

Any ideas.

Hi Nigel,

Do the missing 3 files (or their parent directories) have any special attributes? Did you check “include hidden and system files” on the File Iterator?

If that doesn’t resolve it, would you be able to post (or email support@finalbuilder.com) with the pathnames themselves?

The 'include hidden and system files' was checked. I'll send you the results of the test via e-mail along with a copy of the script to have a look at
