Finalbuilder and Virtual Server 2012

I am just getting started with Finalbuilder and controling a number VM on a Virtual Server cluster. I have the VMM console installed on my local system, but when I try to use the Virtual Server List  action, I get:

    Status: Error
      Date: 1/23/2014
      Time: 08:51:41:260
       End: 08:51:41:393
  Duration: 00:00:00:133

Action Messages:
Connecting to rbrovmm:8100…
An error occured : Could not access virtual server COM API : Automation server can’t create object


Is there something else I need to install to get the connection?

Hi Robert,

From my understanding Virtual Server was replaced by Hyper-V around 2008. Therefore I assume your using Hyper-V. If this is the case then the “Hyper V List Virtual Machines” action would be what your after.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Just haven’t heard of Virtual Server 2012.
