Hi,
Our install is on Win2k8 R2 x64. FB version is 6.3.0.2253. Using Process Explorer, the CPU usage, in particular system interrupts is extremely high on a single core when the FinalBuilder IDE is open. The .fbz6 file I have opened is a reasonably large project. The issue occurs without running anything - just having the project open is enough. We do use TFS2010.
A new finalbuilder file does not have the issue so I’d guess there is some action step or combination of them that contributes.
Is there a known issue that causes CPU/Interrupt process usage to skyrocket? Are there any steps I can take to assist isolating/fixing the problem?
Thanks,
Sam
Hi Sam,
Have you tried FinalBuilder 7 on the same machine with the projects in question?
You can use a trail version of FinalBuilder 7, and simply open the FinalBuilder 6 projects. It will upgrade them automatically and alter the original files.
There are a number of bug fixes over the years in FinalBuilder 7 which may have addressed this issue. Talking to the team here we can’t remember having this issue reported previously. Running up the latest FinalBuilder will tell you almost instantly if it is still an issue.
