Add pre requisitive check of IIS to the installation package. I installed finalbuilder server to one of our build machines and got JIT dialogs appear during the installation because of the failed registeration of the software to IIS. (we have Visual Studio 2005 Pro installed to the build machine, hence the JIT dialogs).
I noticed the IIS wasn't installed to the build machine :/

Thanks for your post. I think there already some checks run along these lines, although obviously we’re not checking all cases. What operating system is the build machine running? (there are at least three possible versions of IIS, depending on the OS version.)

We have .net 2.0 and 3.0 installed to our build machine, and I installer IIS after those were installed (IIS wasn’t installed by default when I started to install software needed to create our daily builds). The finalbuilder server installed didn’t complain the IIS pre requisitive prior the IIS installation for some reason.

Thanks for this. What operating system (ie what version of Windows, and is it 32-bit or 64-bit Windows) is the build machine running?
