FinalBuilder Set Build Status action is ignored in Continua

I’m using Continua 1.6.0.305 and FinalBuilder 7.0.0.3396. My FB script uses a “Continua CI - Set Build Status” action to indicate to Continua when it fails (all errors are handled, so it doesn’t error out, but I still want it to indicate it failed). This used to work when initially implemented in Continua 1, but hasn’t worked in 1.5 and does not work in 1.6. FinalBuilder has been updated a few times since it worked too (though it’s always been on various builds of 7), so I’m not entirely sure if it’s broken in Continua or FB.

Hi Miruna,

The Set Build Status writes a status message to the panel on the Details tab of the build while the build is running. This is working in the the latest version and has not really changed since it was first implemented. 

Are you expecting it to show the status somewhere else (or after the build is completed)?

It was actually setting the build status to “failed” in version 1.0…

It was never supposed to do that. Use a Stop Build action with a Stop run result of Failure to set the Continua build status to failed from FinalBuilder.
