Our buildserver had a BlueScreen last week when FinalBuilder was running. From the dump file, seems like FinalBuilder was trying to kill Wininit.exe, that caused a Windows BSOD. I can email the dump file if needed. For some reason, it cannot be added to the attachment, even if I zipped it or rename it to .txt.
FinalBuilder v7.0.0.3396 Server OS Windows 2k8r2 SP1
FinalBuilder certainly doesn’t do anything to try and kill Wininit.exe. We did have another report of a bsod a few weeks ago, and sent the customer a custom build but he never came back to let us know if the custom build fixed the problem. The latest build has the changes to the copy protection system that we suspected was the cause (we were never able to reproduce the problem here) so I would recommend at least updating to the latest. If that doesn’t resolve the issue then contact support@finalbuilder.com.
Thanks, Vincent! We have upgraded FinalBuilder to the latest version 7.0.0.3418 already. So far no more BSOD has happened. I will contact support if this issue comes again.
