Hi,
Is it possible to add flags or priority indicators to the send email action? Like, set the importance of the email to high or low (such as in MS Outlook).
Thanks,
Brent_d

Hi Brent,
Sorry, it’s not possible to add priority with the Send Email action in FinalBuilder at the moment. However, I’ll put it on the todo list

A friend of mine told me today that when someone emails her with “urgent” priority, her phone company converts it into an SMS for her. That could be handy!

wow… interesting. Although I don’t think I’d like my phone company reading my email

I actually forward almost all my email to my phone. My phone supports “push” which means that pretty much as soon as the email hits the phone company’s server, it gets relayed to my phone. The whole thing happens so fast that often I hear the beep sound, look up, and the message hasn’t even appeared in the gmail GUI yet. Refresh, it’s there.
However, her phone doesn’t support push, but if you use the priority thing, you can work around that - the header gets converted into an SMS, which gets delivered “fairly soon”.
Another weird email/SMS crossover is that when someone leaves a voice message, I get an SMS telling me about it (normal), but also an email - with the message as a .wav attachment! Not only is this cool, but it actually saves money, as I can download emails free on my phone, but calling the voicemail service costs money.
Totally off topic, but I tihnk it’s pretty cool.
