FTP outgoing connection blocked by windows firewall

Hi,

I am using Automise 1.5.
I have an ftp connection going out and grabbing a file. It works fine if the windows firewall is disabled, but if the windows firewall is enabled the process just goes on and on for days. The file size received stays at 0kb. I have included ATMCD.exe and Automise Action Studio in the exception list as well as port 21 is open for FTP.

Any idea what else should I open?

Hi

The problem is that in active mode, the server connects to the client. Change the mode to Passive and it should be fine. This page has some good info on FTP : http://www.slacksite.com/other/ftp.html
