Hi,
First of all I think the development of a tool like automise is a natural progression for you guys, I’ve been using FB too for some automatic stuff.
So i found a bug in Automise ver 1.0.0.200
When i click Remote Reboot (WMI) or remote Shutdown (WMI), I get a script error saying:
Error in Remote Computer script: Erro executing script: ReadData EListError
List Index out of bounds (20)
Line 3
Char 1
OS is WIN XP
It happens every two clicks on either of the two actions, after I click Ok on the message box, the action opens.
Cheers,
NirS
That supposed to be a smiley in the Subject
Another bug?
Hi Nir,
Thanks for your (first) post.
So far we’re unable to reproduce this bug, the actions work fine here. Are you able to actually the use them, despite the message? In particular, if you enter a password in the Password field, does it save correctly and reappear when you reopen the action? The error seems to be coming from the code which decrypts the stored password, but - as I said - we can’t reproduce it.
(The smiley bug looks like a restriction in the DotNetNuke forums module we’re using. No smileys in forum topics, I’m afraid!)
Hmmmm weirly I can’t reproduce it today (I restarted AM but not the computer). i believe it is somehow connected to trying some of the actions before, yesterday I ran a ‘smoke test’ on many actions before arriving to Remote Reboot…
