Just upgraded from FB7 to FB8 Professional. I am unable to find the “Ask Question” action. The only actions under “Interactive” are “MessageBox” and “InputBox”. Did “Ask Question” get removed in FB8?
That’s strange, I see on on multiple installs here. On the tools menu, go to Package Manager and check that the Interactive package is checked.
I manually added all of the FB*.bpl packages. Looks like all of the Actions are back. Thanks for your help. FYI, I do have Delphi 10.2.3 installed. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I suspect the package name issue is part of upgrading from an older version… although when I look at the upgrade code I cannot see how… when you run FB8 for the first time it looks for older versions and copies all the settings except for the known packages section. Anyway, glad you got it sorted.
