No agents after upgrade to 2745

if i go to administration / agents, i get the following error message:

Failed to connect to the required application service, received error 'There was no endpoint listening at net.pipe://localhost/ContinuaCI/IAgentRegistrationService that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.'. Please make sure that the machine is online and that the port has been excluded in any firewall configurations.


No build is running anymore. "Stage awaiting agent". Event log is empty (windows + continua). Service were restarted with errors.

ok. as i wrote this. it seems to work again. hell ya!

ok, we restored a backup because the whole system hangs up after some minutes. maybe too much agent logging information

Hi Christian,

The exception you posted is a generic web application exception - did this occur on a specific page? Are there any other errors in the event log? 

We've been using this version on our build server for a few days now without issue so would need some further information to reproduce. Can you identify the steps taken (or build actions running) before the error occurs and ideally send us a debug log?

as i write in the first post, there are NO errors in the event log. i know that this exception is a generic WCF exception but do not have anything else (as i said).
today we are going to create a virtual machine for testing the issue again.

tell me what i should do that helps you in detail (settings in config files etc.).
