No User variables on FB8

I just installed FinalBuilder 8 1520 to give it a try and noticed that the User variables is no longer present.

Is there a replacement for this? I use User variables for shared paths across projects.

Hi Steven,

Your correct that user variables have been removed from FinalBuilder 8. We envisage environment variables would be how to achieve the shared paths across a group of projects.

That’s a shame, it means it will break all my existing projects since they all use User variables, unless I manually add those variables as environment ones. I’ll consider doing that if I decide to upgrade to FB 8. Thanks!
