Rename File - Change Name AND Location

Hi
I want to change both Name of File AND Location. Move change only location, Raname lets you change ONLY the Name. Could one of the actions be extended to do both, or can this be done in a different way in FB ?

Hi Daphna,

This can be done using the ‘Move File(s)’ action, make sure that ‘Destination is a Directory’ is unchecked, and that you specify the new filename in the destination field. Also enable ‘Force Directories’ if the destination path does not exist.

Hi Daphna,

The Move Files action can move and change the name - just enter a full path and filename in the Destination field and it should work.

[but this won’t work if you are trying to do multiple files or use a filespec]
