Hi everyone.
I think the "send mail" action could use a "voting option". We are sending mails to notify people that an installation has been done. An another team member is then in charge to review the changes installed and must approve / disaprouve. Voting option could ease the process and add more flexibility to the action.
The voting action would require the following options :
- Adding or not voting option
- Changing / adding / removing voting choices
- Receiver (person who will receive the voting result unless it uses the "reply-to" parameters)
Thank you !
Hi Mayoo,
Thanks for the suggestion.
I’m a bit confused as to how this ties in with the send email action. How would the voting system work? Would this require both receiving emails (votes) and sending the results to a nominated address?
Regards,
Paul.
The way I see it would be in the "send email" action .The simpliest way I can see would be to have a tab for the voting. In this tab you can add or removing voting answer choices and the question. You would also need to define the "voting from" (or whatever name you can give it) that would define who would be responsible for receiving all the results.
The only question that remains is, can we define an email address only for voting? If not, the "send email" action would require to always have a Sender/From if voting is enabled as it would define the "voting from".
