Hi there,
after upgrading from 1.9.2.554 (or maybe it has been 589) to 1.9.2.1378 all links to projects, configurations etc. are broken and result in a server error.
Interesting fact: The footer is showing a version number of 1.9.2.589.
I tried to run the setup again but with no other result.
The server itself is running as expected with all existing configurations and their triggers.
But I can’t run, edit or add any configuration manually.
As the footer is showing the old version number, it appears that the installation is failing for some reason.
The installer generates a log file which matches the pattern “Setup Log YYYY-MM-DD #XXX.txt”. It is located under C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\Temp or in a subdirectory. If you can send this file to support@finalbuilder.com, this will help us to locate the cause of the issue.
Additionally, can you generate and download a diagnostics report from the Event Log page, under the Administration section of Continua. Also, send that to us. It includes a list of errors on the event log page as well as some further details about your settings.
Generally, this should be enough to allow us to diagnose the cause of your issue, and work out a fix. If not, we would need a server debug log. You may wish to include it now in readiness for this outcome. The documentation contains details on enabling debug logging.
For all, here’s the solution:
We changed the webroot of Continua to a different folder.
Continua will not recognize this fact and the update will switch back to the default in ‘C:\Program Files\VSoft Technologies\ContinuaCI\Web’.
We had to change the root for the webserver back to default to get Continua working again.
