If read the version from an assembly and then i use the "Set Build Version" action to update the version of the current.

This works as expected and the new version is shown but it seems that the $Build.Version$ objects is no up to date because its still showing only the auto incremented build number.

The build version was being updated on the server but not on the agent so the change was not visible to different actions in the same stage. This has been fixed for the next build.
