Skin legacy apps and new - kind of mash-up?

Dowloaded and had a play with Automiser today.

I use some old fat client apps that are not designed to present all the data I need on one page.

Is it feasible to use Automiser to 'skin' legacy apps so that I can get to see all the data I want in one screen and potentially enrich with related data from the web?

Had a look at Openspan - seems to do the job but too expensive.

Automise was not designed to be used in this kind of manner, it’s possible to use to Automise to extract small amounts of data from other application, or to automate GUI actions but to create mash-ups of other applications is not possible.
