Hello,
we have a problem with the “Stop Run (failure)” action in Finalbuilder.
Normally our buildmaster should get an email, if an error occured and the buildprocess is stopped, it seems to us that this is not (always) the case anymore. We had a problem that we couldn’t get the sources from our repository and therefore the build stopped, but no information was send by email.
I attached 2 pictures, the first shows the part of our script where the error occured and the second one shows the corresponding logfile.
I would expect that after “End” the OnFailure List will be executed. Or this this assumption wrong?
We are using FB 7.0.0.2056 with Win xPSP3
Best regards
Axel

Also not the second time ...
Pleased send them to support @ finalbuilder.com - also your project file if possible. That would make it much easier to figure out what is going on.

Hi Vincent,
could you find anything that explains the behaviour?
Best regards
Axel
Hi Axel
Apologies for the delay, we have been able to reproduce the problem, but have yet to figure out why it’s happening. As a work around you can use the Raise Exception action, which does cause the onerror action list to run.
Hi Vincent,
Thanks a lot for the work around.
Best regards
Axel
