I think I’ve found a few bugs in Subversion actions:
Action “Subversion commit”: The “Work Folder” does not seem to support variables. (V 8.0.0.1285 and also 7.0.0.3450)
Action “Subversion pin externals”: The “Work Folder” does not seem to support variables. (V 8.0.0.1285 and also 7.0.0.3450)
Action “Subversion pin externals”: Error saving project, no serializationType for this action (V 8.0.0.1285).
I’m very interested in getting this to work. I need to “pin externals” whenever I create a svn tag. This is dead easy to accomplish in TortoiseSVN but not so easy in Finalbuilder.

Hi Arthur,
I have found the issues with the pin externals action and fixed them in the FinalBuilder 8 release we are making today. The issues with the commit however I was not able to reproduce in FinalBuilder 8. Would you be able to confirm what your seeing in the output and also that the latest release does not have this issue.
I will back port these fixes to FinalBuilder 7 and include it in our next release.

the “commit” action reported that c:\program files\TortoiseSVN\bin wasn’t a valid working copy but somehow that error disappeared after a re-boot. I’m grateful that you back-port the fixes to Finalbuilder 7, we still have an XP build machine!
