Text Find / Replace => Fail if not exactly

Slightly surprising that you can’t fail if the number of matches is not equal to a value. Perhaps the “is less” and “is more” options could be made not mutually exclusive?

In my case, I want to replace 1 piece of text. 0 would be bad. 2 would be bad…(yes, there is a workaround…)

I was in the same boat… I ended up using the “Text Replace (Deprecated)” action instead. This action allows you to control exactly how many replacements should occur.

Hope this helps,

Rod

Hi guys,

Thanks for letting us know about this shortcoming. We’ll add another “Fail if not X replacements” option to the to-do list.
