Unable to resolve email domain

Greetings Vincent,

At my suggestion, my company, Thomson Reuters, has purchased FinalBuilder, server edition, and have it installed.

Also, at home, I have recently downloaded FB for possible purchase by my own little side-business.

I would like to demo what I learned on my Trial edition (at home) to some folks here at my company.  So I have downloaded FinalBuilder trial edition onto my laptop at here at work.  However, when I attempt to Request Trial License, I receive ‘Unable to resolve email domain’.  My email address is ‘keith.tolbert@thomsonreuters.com’.

The company I work for is a $15 Billion company.  It’s email domain ‘SHOULD’ be resolvable.

Just to make sure, I logged onto my personal web-email account and sent a test email to my Thomson Reuters work address and it came through without any problem.

How can I fix this?  Could someone there at FB just email me a ‘trial key’?  Remember, we have already purchased and installed the server edition of FinalBuilder.  I am just wanting to demo some stuff with a Trial install.

Thanks,

Keith

FinalBuilder does the following when trying to validate email :

Use dns to get the MX for the domain.
Connect to the mail server and validate that the email address is valid (starts a session with the mail server and tells the mail server it has mail for xxx@yyy.com - the mail server says ok or not ok).

This error happens typically when corporate firewalls or windows firewall is blocking FinalBuilder from either making the dns request or connecting to the mail server.

I have added a 30 day trial key to your account on our website, you can download the key from the store page, on the My Store menu.
